Life Legacy
Steven Allen Essendrup, 52, of Bulverde, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Missouri. He was born in Willmar, MN on April 27, 1960, to Gerald and Marlys (Mickels) Essendrup.
Steve graduated from Clara City High School, Clara City, MN in 1978. From the age of 18 years on, Steve worked with the construction crews at Preload Inc. and was a superintendent at the time of his passing.
Steve met the love of his life, Cindy, in Dallas in 1990. They married one year later, celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2011.
An avid outdoorsman, Steve loved hunting, horseback riding, and riding his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Cindy; father Gerald; 2 sisters, Sue Kuck and Karen Essendrup; 2 brothers, Mike Essendrup and David Essendrup and wife Paula; an aunt, Lois (Mickels) Isley and husband Jerry; and his mother-in-law, Lorene Coleman and many nieces and nephews. A lover of animals, he also leaves behind his horse Hollywood; his dogs Luke and Barkley; and cats Callie and Sophie.
