Life Legacy
Bulmaro Hernandez Alarcón, age 82, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in San Antonio. He was born July 20, 1929 in Mexico D.F., Mexico to Manuel and Ventura Alarcón.
Mr. Alarcón was a 4th Degree Knight and past Grand Knight of Council 8512; A past Faithful Navigator of Assembly 1791 of New Braunfels. He was a dedicated member of St. Joseph of Honey Creek for over 28 yrs where he helped originate the “Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration”.
He was preceded in death by, his parents; his wife Columba Martinez Alarcón; son Bulmaro Alarcón, Jr.; and brother Manuel Alarcón.
Bulmaro is survived by sons, Edward Alarcón (Darlene), and Marco Alarcón (Amy); daughter Carol Gise (Petu); sister, Paz Molina Alarcón; grandchildren, Edward Daniel Alarcón (Kristen), Stephen Robert (Else), Michael Anthony Alarcón, Monica Darlene Alarcón, Sophia Anabelle Alarcón, Lily Isabelle Alarcón, Brian Kelly Rundle, Melissa Danielle Rundle, Sarah Christine Gise, Jeff Gerald Gise, Amanda Jean Alarcón, Phillip Thomas Alarcón; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Timothy, Brianna and Gabriella.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
