Bud, we will really miss you! Never forgetting playing as your tennis partner at nationals in 1986 and many other times. You were always the life of the party with your famous saying in a Chinese accent "Having a goood time". Also, Ginger having met Susan when new to San Antonio, winning the top division of the Sonterra tennis member guest, where Susan was a ringer from the Nebraska tennis team. Then introducing Susan to our good frend Bud Luckett which was a match made in heaven and Ginger will always claim as one of her greatest accomplishments, as Bud and Susan had a great marriage and were blessed with two beautiful chrildren. Although, Bud left us before his time, he left in good spirit. The last time I saw Bud at the TPC, where both he and I were being wooed by the Spurs to re-up our season tickets by playing with Sean Elliot of the Spurs about 4 months ago, when I ask him about his health, his answer was his normal jovial self, "couldn't be better, I feel great" when, in fact,his always happy personality was masking his true health status. THAT WAS BUD, ALWAYS HAPPY AND IN GOOD SPIRIT! Ginger and I will miss him dearly. GOD BLESS!
