Green burial.
Some families still desire the tradition of burial, but with minimal impact on the environment. As the nonprofit Green Burial Council puts it, the object is to see eco-friendly end-of-life rituals become a viable option for honoring the dead, healing the living, and inviting in the divine. There are many shades of green that a director can discuss with you, but can include:
Preparation of the body without the use of embalming fluids or chemicals.
Use of caskets, coffins or alternative containers built with biodegradeable materials.
Non-use of permanent vaults or grave liners.

Cremation.
Cremation has become the choice of a growing number of people. We can provide numerous options, depending on your exact wishes:
